Historic Victorian Mansion
Without moulded products, it can be difficult to recreate high standards of ornamentation on buildings, particularly that which is expected of classic, turn-of-the-century Victorian homes.
When general contractor Kenwood Builders of Brookline, Massachusetts, began a complete remodel of a high-end residence in the town of Newton, they had specific detailing in mind.
The home, in a prestigious Hyde Avenue neighborhood, was being completely rebuilt, and the builder, Boris Kutikov, had a specific vision in mind. We brought in samples and mock-ups, repeating the process as needed, until he found what he was looking for.
Because many solutions used stock products, we were able to keep costs manageable and provide an efficient turnaround time. The end result was an elaborate home, adorned with the graceful Victorian detailing.
